Best Salsa in the World!
G’day again from the USA. Traveled to Reno, Nevada
on Thursday firstly trying to qualify for the World Championship Salsa
competition held Saturday. Had only the one chance each of qualifying in the
Friday “Last Chance” Open Salsa Competition. Guess what – I WON!
This allowed us to have a crack at the World Salsa
Championship which we did, along with 95 other previous National, State and
major Regional Winners. We made the Finals table of 24 Salsas and ended up with
7th Place! We’re chuffed and really happy with this result. Can
only get better!
Saturday also gave Debbie a shot at the “Last
Chance” Red Chili competition. 27 teams vying for one spot in Sunday’s WCCC
Final. Unfortunately no luck today but roll on Sunday. I will give it our best
so GO Aussies GO!
